Senior Lecturer in Smart Sensors and Instrumentation
MS Electrical Engineering, University of Pergia
PhD Microwave Engineering and Optoelectronics, University of Limoges
Senior Member IEEE
Dr Palego received the M.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Perugia, Italy, in 2003, and a Ph.D. in Microwave Engineering and Optoelectronics from the University of Limoges, France, in 2007.
He has been a postdoctoral research associate (2007-2010) and research scientist at Lehigh University (USA), since.
His interests include electromagnetic theory, micro/nanotechnology and biomedical research as well as RF-MEMS for reconfigurable frontends, antenna arrays, and high-power applications.
Dr. Palego is a senior member of the IEEE Microwave Theory and Techniques (MTT) Society, of the European Microwave Association (EuMA), and of the EuMA Technical Group on RF MEMS. He is also the first UK member of the IEEE Technical Committee MTT-10 that focuses on “Biological Effects and Medical Applications of RF and Microwave”.
