Students should complete register process at the beginning of every academic year on schedule to validate their enrollment status of CSUFT registration.
Students would only register to CSUFT in the first year, and are offered with the study patterns of 4+0, 3+1, 2+2 or 2+1+1 in the second, third and fourth academic year only when meeting the register requirement of Bangor University. Students of 3+1, 2+2 or 2+1+1 patterns should abide by the law of China and UK when studying in Bangor University.
Qualified students could apply for registration or validation to Bangor University every year through the second to the fourth Chinese academic year. The qualified requirements as followings:
1) Before registration to Bangor University in the second year in CSUFT, students should obtain 5.5 in IELTS (5.5 on Reading and Writing) or other English methods recognized by BU. Other English methods recognized by BU can be found in the link.

2) Before registration to Bangor University in the third year of CSUFT, students should obtain 6.0 in IELTS (5.5 on Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing) or other English methods recognized by BU. Other English methods recognized by BU can be found in the link.

3) Qualified students should prepare relevant materials required by Bangor University before registration; BCC would provide assistance on the process of registration.
For students whose English could not meet the requirement of Bangor University for the registration of both second and third year of the CSUFT, the following study patterns are for option:
(1)Repeat another academic year until one’s English level reaches the standard set by Bangor University, and then apply for the registration to Bangor University. Every student could only repeat twice and if he fails twice in meeting the register requirement of Bangor University, he may apply for single-diploma registration of CSUFT.
(2)Apply for temporary suspension for an academic year until one’s English level reaches the standard set by Bangor University, and then apply for the registration to Bangor University. Every student could only repeat twice and if he fails twice in meeting the register requirement of Bangor University, he may apply for single-diploma registration of CSUFT.
(3)Apply for single registration of CSUFT to enter the second year of the CSUFT. After converting to single registration, the students could only attend courses taught by academic staff of CSUFT, with no permission to attend any lectures given by teachers from Bangor University. For the course credits concerning lessons given by Bangor University teachers, students may choose the same or similar courses in CSUFT to acquire the credits needed. When all the tasks are
completed, students would be given academic degree and diploma of CSUFT, but NO DEGREE OR DIPLOMA of Bangor University would be issued.
(4)Students whose English do not meet the minimum requirements may be eligible to join pre-sessional English course offered by Bangor University’s English Learning Centre for Overseas Students (ELCOS)

Take grade 2014 students for example:
1.Students unqualified for resit (make-up examination) or fail in resit of programme, would not register for the higher-level study of next year.
2.After one year of study in Bangor University, students could apply for returning to Bangor College to continue the study. The Academic Affairs Office of CSUFT would file record after the approval of Bangor College is given. Students should submit application to BCC and BU a month before the end of semester.
