Zhige Wu, Ph.D in economics, is a banking and finance program lecturer in the Bangor College China (BCC). Born in Changsha, he completed his M.A in international economics at Hunan University in 2009 and obtained a Ph.D in Economics at the University of Guelph in 2015. His research focuses on the study of economic impact of biofuels, futures market commodity price analysis, and inter-sector price transmission. His main teaching interests include statistical methods and financial econometrics courses and he is currently teaching Quantitative Methods course.
