　　Colin has over30 years’ experience in accounting practice and education, qualifiying as achartered accountant with Larking Gowen, a mid-tier firm based in Norwich andaffiliated to Deloittes. After a decade in the accounting profession he movedinto further education, firstly at Chelmsford College then Coleg Llandrillo. 

　　While at Chelmsford College from 1991 to 1994 Colin served on the Pilot Scheme Steering Group for the development of the NVQ in Accounting. In FE he taught, developedand led on a range of professional accounting qualifications including AAT,ACCA, CIMA, APMP and ATT. 

　　Colin moved toBangor University in 2007, firstly at The Management Centre directing thedevelopment of the ACCA programme, then from 2008 teaching on undergraduate andpostgraduate programmes within the Business School
